FileManager/Media Manager Application in PHP

This application allows you to upload files, create accounts for clients, and set permissions for which clients have access to what files. Files can be either data, graphic or even movie or media files. The appliction uses two different URL's for admin and client. Feature also allows clients to create their own account which must be approved by you as well. Hosting is available for uploading files up to 2MB for $11.95 per month or 3MB up to 100MB for $39.95 per month. Discounts for annual payments. Uses a MySQL database as the backend. Admin Area: ID: admin Password: password
User Area: ID: remoore Password: 123456 (takes two times to log in-enter and then enter again. This is a security feature.)

Admin Area:

  • ID and Password protected access, including multiple user accounts.
  • Upload all file types and sizes based on the type of hosting plan you have the application installed on.
    (Hosting available or we can install it on your existing hosting account. Please refer to minimum requirements to ensure that your hosting account has all needed modules installed).
  • Delete or remove access to files with the use of radio buttons.Ability to set uploaded files as active or inactive.
  • Set up and manage accounts for clients.
  • Receive emails (optional) telling you that the file has been accessed by the client.
  • Edit file names that are uploaded in the system.
  • Ability to delete client accounts as needed.
  • Maintain client information-edit information, change emails, etc. Unlimited account potential based on server abilities.
  • Approve new accounts entered through the website.

User Area:

  • Displays client information for user after login.
  • Able to view multiple files without leaving user area. All files open in a separate window for viewing and downloading.
  • Files are displayed by discription, file name and the type of file it is (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Users do not have access to any files you do not provide permission to in the admin area.
  • Lost password feature using the email address on the account.
  • Ability for your existing clients to go to the site and create their own accounts. These accounts become live
    and usable once you approve them.

Website Integration/Server Requirements:

  • Completely integratable with your existing website. Addition of logo, color and font color changes,
    and simple header/footer changes included in the price. (NOTE: Excessive changes in the overall look and design
    of the application will require an additonal charge). Because of the simple layout most websites only need color
    changes and the addition of your logo or header to make the site work seemlessly with your website.
  • Email account for administrative emails will be the email address you provide. (but should be one on your domain).
  • Minimum host/server requirements are as follows. Please check with your hosting company to verify that these items are either set or installed:
    -Standard hosting acount for files up to 2MB
    -Dedicated or Virtual Private Server (VPS) for 2MB up to 100MB (Must be with a company willing to make changes to the PHP.ini file).
    -PHP4 or PHP5
    -MySQL
    -Server settings for register_globals set to ON
    -Server Settings for magic_quote_gprc set to ON
